Lord Jesus,

We come to You with hearts surrendered to Your mission, remembering Your words in Matthew 28:19–20:

You are the Lord of the harvest and we pray that You would go before every missionary, preparing the hearts of those they will meet. Break up the hardened soil and remove any strongholds, whether spiritual, cultural, or personal, that would keep people from hearing and receiving Your truth,

Lord, grant safe travels by land, sea, and air. Be their shield and defender keeping them from all harm and watching over their coming and going. Strengthen their bodies and minds so they may be the hands and feet of Christ—serving, loving, and healing in Your name.

When courage runs low, fill them with boldness through Your Spirit.

Father, let Your Word go out through them and it will not return void. May lives be changed, and may entire communities be touched by the power of Your love and truth. And Lord… just an extra sprinkle of prayer for Judith’s buddy, John Bevard, I don’t know what he needs but you do. ;)

We commit them to You, Jesus—our Savior, our Shepherd, and our King. Go with them, strengthen them, speak through them, and bring glory to Your name. We thank you for the ultimate sacrifice for us as sinners, defeating death and sin, and creating a place for us to be with you for eternity.
