After Sunday service, we were taken to Maranatha Church, one of the churches we worked at last year, to see how the project was progressing. This wall was left like it was and given a special water resistance treatment in memory of John’s (Tucker and Kelly’s) work from last year.

Our final day in Armenia, we attended Asatur’s church (he is the head of the Armenian Baptist Union). A wonderful service full of music and praise! I was asked to bring the message (which was about being brothers and sisters in Christ and how Jesus was the first to break down cultural barriers) and I had to borrow a coat. They didn’t make me wear a tie though!

After dinner, we headed back out to the city for our final night in country. Went to The Cascade Complex (572 steps to the top which you can see the skyline. Yes I made it!) Then to Republic Square for the dancing fountains (and ice cream).

Saturday morning, we took in some sights of Yerevan. Went to the market, lunch at the Four Seasons (look at that barbecue spread!!), and St. Gregory The Illuminator Cathedral. And the random water fountain playground…
